You can control how the quantity total rolls up into your quarter and year time period columns — for example year to date, quarter to date, and full year.
To choose the aggregation setting:
- On the Customers tab, click the three dots at the top right of the page.
- Select Change Definitions.
- Choose your aggregation setting: Summation (the sum of the months in the time period) or Last (the last month in the time period).
- Click Save.
Summation suits quantities you sell or consume month by month, such as the total units sold in a quarter. Last suits point-in-time counts, such as the number of seats or subscriptions active at the end of the period.
Settings will apply to all reports across ScaleXP.

You can also rename the quantity label from the same Change Definitions menu — see How to change the quantity label in ScaleXP reports.
