When reporting on quantity, you can change the label from quantity to something else — for example, subscription number, number of items, or anything else.
When you change the label, the new name is applied across all reports and formulas throughout ScaleXP, including the report configuration menus. The label changes only how quantity is displayed — your underlying data stays the same.
To change the label:
- Go to the Customers tab and click the three dots menu at the top right of the page.
- Select Change Definitions.
- Type your new name into the Quantity box.
- Click Save.
The new name will apply across all reports and formulas in ScaleXP.

From the same Change Definitions menu you can also control how quantity totals roll up into quarter and year columns — see How to change the way quantity is reported in ScaleXP reports for different time periods.
