When an invoice changes in Xero or QuickBooks, for example it's approved, paid or voided, ScaleXP Invoicing shows the change on the opportunity in Salesforce, in the ScaleXP Invoicing card. Your team can see where each deal's invoices stand without leaving Salesforce.
1. What you see on the opportunity
The ScaleXP Invoicing card on each opportunity shows:
- Invoices: how many invoices the opportunity has.
- Total: the total value of those invoices.
- Status: Draft until the invoices are synced to your accounting system, then Synced.
- Repeating invoices: how many recurring invoice schedules are set up.

Click View more for the detail of each invoice.
2. What you see in the invoice editor
Click View and amend invoices on the card. For each invoice you'll see:
- Status: the invoice status, for example Fully Paid once it has been paid. Xero invoices can also show as Draft; QuickBooks doesn't support draft invoices.
- Sync status: for example Synced to QuickBooks.
- Dates and terms: the invoice date, due date and, for recurring invoices, the schedule.
- Amounts: the invoice total, or the series total for recurring invoices.

3. When the data updates
- Automatically: once a day.
- On demand: open the invoice editor and click Sync to Salesforce. Use this when you need a change from your accounting system to show straight away.

Sync to Salesforce updates the card with the latest changes. Sync to Xero or Sync to QuickBooks does the opposite and sends your invoices to your accounting system.
