See all options for importing historic invoices in ScaleXP Invoicing: Importing historic issued invoice data to HubSpot deals 

You can add any existing invoice from Xero or QuickBooks to any HubSpot deal using ScaleXP Invoicing.

Here is how

1. Select the deal in HubSpot
2. In ScaleXP Invoicing, select “View and amend invoices”

3. Scroll down to the bottom of the invoicing summary and select “Add more invoices”

4.Click on “Import Existing Invoices”

5. Search for the existing invoice in QuickBooks or Xero, select, and add with “Import Invoice”.

You can use the reference field (for Xero) or invoice number (Xero and QuickBooks).

ScaleXP Invoicing will check to make sure the currency and contact match what's already on the deal.

You can import invoices using this method whatever status they are in your accounting platform, and even if you already have invoices created on the deal.

Note that an invoice can only be linked to one deal at a time.

Once imported, your deal properties are updated and your invoice is tracked just as if it was created in ScaleXP Invoicing

That's all there is to it.

Going forward, that invoice will be included towards your current deal value in HubSpot and ScaleXP and in all your related reporting.
